Meet Jesus
Life Change Starts Here

Jesus changes things. And He wants to change your life, from the inside out. God created you to have a relationship with Him. The journey of faith starts here, with a decision to trust Jesus with your life.
The cool part about a relationship with Jesus is that he doesn’t expect you to be perfect. Actually, he already knows that you aren’t. That’s why God sent his Son, Jesus to die on the cross and to be raised from the dead. He was the absolute perfect sacrifice for our wrongs, and provides the solution for us to have a relationship with our Creator. It’s not hard to start a relationship with Jesus, it’s actually as easy as A-B-C.

A – Admit that I have sinned and that my sin separates me from God.
B – Believe that I am forgiven by God only through Jesus’ death and resurrection.
C – Commit to Jesus being the leader of my life.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God–not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

If you’ve made the decision to follow Jesus, or if you still have questions, we’d love to talk with you about it. Stop by church this Sunday, call us at (703) 830-3333, or email .  We want to help you take your next steps and learn how to follow Jesus!

We celebrate life change

Baptism is a next step in your spiritual journey after you make the decision to follow Jesus.  It is the act of publicly declaring your personal commitment to Jesus Christ and an outward expression of an inward decision to follow Him.

We believe in celebrating baptism by full immersion just as Jesus did.  (Matthew 3:16)  The immersion of the body under the water indicates death to an old way of life and the raising of the new life as a follower of Christ. (Romans 6:3-5)

If you are interested in baptism, please email Corrine at   for more information.

Becoming a member of CBC is not a requirement to attend, or participate in groups. Membership is an opportunity for you to experience the blessings that come with commitment and ownership.  Everything you need to know about CBC is available in our membership class. Pastor Steve will share the mission, values and vision of CBC and what your next steps are in your spiritual journey. Once you attend the class and complete the process, you are given the opportunity to become a member.  For more information, contact Corrine.
Next Class:  Sunday, March 10, 2019 @ 9:15am in The Nook.

CBC Cares is a ministry at Centreville Baptist Church that helps care for our church family and offers a way for believers to use their gifts, skills and experiences to serve others in their time of need. We embrace 1 John 3:18 (ESV) as our calling. Little children, let us not love in word or in talk but in deed and in truth.

We believe that the best and most effective care happens when we are connected with one another. We have community groups for all ages and life stages, as well as groups for women only and men only. Care Point Leaders in each group work to ensure group members are cared for during times of emotional trauma, relational struggles, physical crisis or illness, as well as times of financial or material need. Visit our Community Life pages for help discovering the best fit for you.

In addition to receiving care through our Community Groups, we offer additional resources and services, such as marriage mentoring, lay counseling and more.

We believe that everyone has a role and no matter where you are on the journey, there is a place for you to serve. Serving others can be a life changing experience that impacts others by making them feel valued and helps you grow in your relationship with Jesus.

You have a gift that God wants to unleash in ministry here at CBC and it takes all of us to be the healthy hands and feet of Jesus. We want to help you take a next step and find an area that best fits your personality, passion and schedule.

We value generosity

We believe that giving is a spiritual act of worship to support the spread and growth of the Kingdom of God; not just dollars to fund a budget.
